INOC has been providing colocation services since 2001 - we are Albany’s first non-carrier ISP and colocation provider.

We have two public data centers, a third Albany network POP, a network POP at 60 Hudson in NYC where we exchange peering traffic at the Telehouse (NYIIX) and Digital Realty (DRIX) exchanges and a network POP at Markley in Boston where we exchange peering traffic on the Boston Internet Exchange.

INOC operates the most diverse and robust non-carrier ISP network in Upstate Albany New York.

INOC provides 24/7/365 biometric card access to full rack clients who pass a comprehensive background check.

All racks have combination locks that you may set your own code, permitting access to your equipment as needed.

All INOC colocation clients are provided conditioned and protected power eliminating the need for in-rack UPS’s.

We provide recessed, Zero-U PDU’s.

INOC quotes power in Volt-amps (VA). This unit quantity does not change whether a client needs 120 VAC, 208 VAC (Volts AC) - where as Amps (A) changes depending on the voltage and can cause confusion. Using a common unit makes things easier.

For example:

  • 500 VA @ 110 VAC = 4.54 Amps
  • 500 VA @ 208 VAC = 2.40 Amps

Most all modern IT equipment (Dell, SuperMicro, EMC, NetApp, Cisco, Juniper, etc) accepts 208 VAC and being more efficient, it’s our standard and what clients prefer. You actually save money by changing nothing more than the power cable. We can offer 120 VAC power for those who absolutely need it.

INOC can bill power in two ways, a fixed amount or in blocks based on consumption, whichever is most convenient or cost-effective for the client. Block-based billing saves our clients substantially over traditional "breaker" based billing where you’re typically paying for power you’ll never use.

INOC is SSAE 18 SOC 2 Type 2 audited (SSAE 18 replacing the former audits).

We renew our audit annually per AICPA best practices.

Our audit is performed by BARR Advisory, P.A., a registered firm in good standing with both the AICPA and PCAOB.

INOC’s SSAE 18 SOC 2 Type 2 reports contains HIPAA CSF mappings and an opinion on the HIPAA security rule.
